On October 15, Catherine Hudon, Mylaine Breton, and Sharon Johnston led the workshop “Promoting Francophone Research in Primary Care: Reflections from an International Forum”, as part of the 2025 Learning Series of the Canadian Primary Care Research Consortium (CPCRC).
Drawing from discussions held during an international forum, they shared insights and proposed concrete actions to strengthen the presence of Francophone research in primary care in Canada.

Olivier Dumont-Samson, research professional at the Chair, represented our team at the WONCA 2025 conference held in Lisbon, Portugal. He presented the results of the Transition project in an oral presentation titled “Care transitions experience of people with complex needs: a qualitative study.” Olivier has been working on the Transition project for several years. This research aims to better understand the care transition experiences of individuals with complex needs. His presentation drew interest from over fifty participants.
